Sadly like Johnny Carson's early Tonight Show episodes from New York the Uncle Floyd Show episodes that were recorded at UA Columbia's public access channel, WBTB/WTVG/WWHT Channel 68, Cable Television Network of New Jersey and New Jersey Network were destroyed because these stations wanted to save money and not have to keep buying new broadcast grade videocassettes which at the time were extremely expensive, so they simply erased the videocassette and used it for a new program until the tape was no longer usable and it was thrown out. As far as I am aware the only Uncle Floyd episodes that still exist are from OBC-TV which was a public access channel in Nutley New Jersey and Cablevision Oakland public access channel, Cablevision is what used to formerly be known as UA Columbia Cable so Floyd went full circle back to where he started.

@cdgoldmine, Did you happen to download The Uncle Floyd Show Album off of the Internet Archive website before that got taken down too?, I saw it there and decided to wait a couple of days because I needed to buy some more CD-ROM discs and when I went back a week later the album was gone replaced by DMCA take down notice, I was so freakin' pissed off, I found it on Amazon but they are asking $59.99 and I was like NO WAY am I paying that because back in the 70s that record probably costs less then $10.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17649119902064095289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5550868480663112358.post-58536338379816500062019-04-10T01:40:11.861-04:002019-04-10T01:40:11.861-04:00DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!! I watched your interview with them at the Bottom Line and like you I first caught on to them about 1977 or 78 and watched every day until the early 80's. I've been collecting bootlegs since 1975 and have quite an extensive music archive, so I never thought tracking down Floyd shows would be so hard. It's heartbreaking that I missed the few that were on Archive.org. Wish you could help me out. Maybe it's time I renewed my Usenet account and search out there. But I really would appreciate some help. At this point in time I have no idea why he bothers as there is little money to be made from the programs or perhaps there is another reason. Truly a great show.40 years cyclisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00828165917052091693noreply@blogger.com
